Emergency Tree Works

Please be aware that the footpath from Church View to Mitchells Field will be closed tomorrow from 9am to allow emergency tree works to take place.

If you are wanting to access the Junior School from the Mitchells Field Entrance, the paths from Wheelers Hill and Hartletts Park (past the Tennis Courts will be available. You will also be able to enter Mitchells Field from the Quince Tree entrance, but you will need to cross the grass, as the path will be closed off.

Men's Health Matters - 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime.

The Hook Odiham & Hartley Wintney Lions Club are back at Odiham Cottage Hospital on Saturday 7th November with their Prostate Screening Program. Over the years this project has been running, a number of local men's lives have been saved by taking this simple blood test. Many had no symptoms, so had they not done the test, they wouldn't have know until it was too late.

If you are male, aged 40 - 80 years and not had a PSA test in the last 12 months go to https://holc.mypsatests.org.uk/ and book your place. You need to be quick as places go fast. If you don't get a place to do the in person testing you can order a home testing kit.

💜 The Sister Club 💜

After sadly losing her younger sister Ellie to Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2017, local resident Chloe found there was very little support available for people grieving the loss of a sibling. Inspired by her own experience, she has created The Sister Club - a supportive community for women who have experienced sibling loss.

The first meet-up is this Sunday at 1pm at The White Hart Pub, Hook. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, you'll find a welcoming space to connect with others who understand.
