🎨 FREE Fashion Is... Zine Workshop! 👗📖

What does fashion mean to you? Favourite brands, second-hand finds, mending, celebrities, history or personal style? Join the Fashion Museum at Keynsham Library for a fun, hands-on workshop where you'll create your own unique fashion zine.

Using colours, textures, images and creative techniques, you'll explore and celebrate your own ideas about fashion. All materials are provided, and you'll take home your completed zine at the end of the session.

There's even the opportunity to enter your creation into the Fashion Museum's zine competition!

Join Roger Stennett as he shares memories of his extraordinary childhood growing up backstage in variety theatres across the UK while touring with his father, comedian and entertainer Stan Stennett MBE. Roger will also read showbusiness-inspired poems from his three critically acclaimed poetry collections, copies of which will be available to purchase on the day.

Last week, our Home Library Service volunteers were invited to a special Civic Reception in the Mayor’s Parlour.

It was lovely for the volunteers to be recognised for the time, care and dedication they give to helping people enjoy library books from the comfort of their own homes. Over tea and cake they had the opportunity to discuss their roles and the positive impact it has on the community, and given a tour of all the fascinating objects in the Mayor's Parlour!

A huge thank you to Madam Mayor for her kind invite, and all our fantastic volunteers for everything you do!
