A little throwback picture to last month when our teams wore green in support of Mental Health Awareness Week. We support residents through challenges, worries, and sometimes very difficult moments. Wearing green is a small but meaningful way to show that mental health matters, both for our customers and for each other.

The next Children’s Book Club with best-selling author Hana Tooke is Saturday 13 June at Moorland Road Library!

🕰️ 1:15pm - 2:15pm

📚 We’ll be making snazzy bookmarks, chatting about our latest reads, and I’ll be handing out more bespoke book prescriptions!

📚 Got a reluctant reader at home? Drop in (even briefly) for a consultation. I specialise in prescribing just the right reading remedy (with perfectly measured dosage)! Nothing would make me happier than helping them find a book that clicks.

Whilst our physical libraries might be closing for the evening, we also have our fabulous digital library resources including the FREE Borrowbox app with access to around 15,000 eBook and 21,000 eAudiobook titles & 1,500 ePress (newspaper and magazine) titles as well as our Virtual Library with quizzes and games, author Q&A and book reviews, articles, videos and library information.
