🇦🇺🚨 **AUSTRALIA'S NEW SKILLS REPORT IS OUT — AND ALMOST 3 IN 10 OCCUPATIONS REMAIN IN SHORTAGE!**

**COULD YOUR SKILLS BE AMONG THOSE AUSTRALIA STILL NEEDS?**

Jobs and Skills Australia has just released its 2026 Jobs and Skills Report — and there's an important message for anyone considering working Down Under.

📊 **29% OF AUSTRALIAN OCCUPATIONS WERE IN SHORTAGE IN 2025.**

That's almost THREE IN EVERY TEN occupations!

The good news for Australia is that shortages have eased from 36% in 2023.

But employers are still experiencing difficulties finding suitably skilled people across parts of the workforce.

And for experienced UK professionals and tradespeople considering Australia, that's a good reason to investigate where your skills might fit.

🔧 **ARE YOU A SKILLED TRADESPERSON?**

🏗️ **DO YOU WORK IN CONSTRUCTION?**

⚙️ **ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED MECHANIC OR FITTER?**

💼 **ARE YOU A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL?**

Your occupation, experience and the part of Australia you're interested in could all make a difference.

But here's something important...

**BEING IN A SHORTAGE OCCUPATION DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU QUALIFY FOR A VISA OR WILL RECEIVE A JOB OFFER.**

Different employers, states and visa pathways have different requirements.

And that's exactly why speaking directly to people who understand Australian recruitment can be so valuable.

🇦🇺 **MEET AUSTRALIAN RECRUITERS AT DOWN UNDER LIVE — THIS WEEKEND!**

We're bringing together employers, recruiters and migration specialists who can help you explore opportunities.

Including:

⚡ A recruiter specifically looking for electricians

⛏️ Ready Resources Mining — sponsored mining opportunities in Western Australia and information about FIFO working

🏗️ Master Builders South Australia & Build Connect — recruiting skilled people for South Australia's construction industry

🇦🇺 The Government of South Australia — helping skilled people explore opportunities in the state
