Yesterday at Radstock Outdoor Explorers, some of the children worked together and used their wonderful imaginations to create a cosy home for our mascot hedgehog 🦔
They started by using a hole in the ground as the base, then carefully gathered sticks and long grass to build a roof. Using the same materials, they made a soft bed inside, creating a safe and snug space. To complete their creation, they collected daisies and buttercups to leave as food for the hedgehog 🌼
It was lovely to see such teamwork, creativity, and care in action. Experiences like these are so valuable for little ones, giving them the chance to be outdoors, explore freely, use their imagination, and learn to care for the world around them 💚

🌿 Buggy Walk Tomorrow 🌿
At Bath West Bright Beginnings First Steps, we will be doing something a little different tomorrow!
Instead of our usual indoor session, we will be running a buggy walk (weather permitting ☀️) We’re planning a lovely stroll along the river, and a refreshments break with hopes of spotting some local wildlife 🦆🐟🌼
📍 Meet at First Steps, Woodhouse Road, BA2 1SY
🕙 Time: 10:00am
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring along a water bottle, suncream, hats and anything else you feel you may need.
