They did it 🎉. At the English Tug of War Association National Championships at the weekend, Beaminster TOW Team came home with GOLD in Gensby, GOLD in ladies youth, SILVER in men’s youth and 3rd place in the mixed. Huge congratulations to everyone involved 🙌

Beaminster Festival Talent In The Town takes place this Saturday, 20th June from 10am to 4pm in the Public Hall, with music at 11am and 1pm.
Be inspired by the many different talents to be found among Beaminster locals. A lovely exhibition of arts and crafts, hobbies and skills with tea and cakes in aid of Prout Bridge Project.

Disruption to the CR6 bus service on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th June due to the A3066 being closed at Melplash between 9.30am and 3pm each day.

🚌 CR6 BUS SERVICE DISRUPTION! 🚌

Please be aware that there is disruption to the CR6 service on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th June, due to the A3066 being closed at Melplash between the hours of 09.30 and 15.00.

Beaminster Square/ Red Lion will not be served (nearest bus stops to the town centre will be the Fire Station).
Bradpole will not be served (bus will not call at stops on Sea Road North/ St Andrews Road), or Melplash.

** UPDATE** Regarding the reference about Broadwindsor, we are advised that temporary bus stops have (or will have) been erected by the junction of the B3162 and B3163.

The services affected are:-
‘Northbound’:-
09.30 Bridport Community Hospital – Yeovil
10.20 Bridport Community Hospital – Beaminster
11.40 Bridport Community Hospital – Beaminster
13.10 Bridport Community Hospital – Yeovil
These will start from Bridport Bus Station, and only call at Bridport Community Hospital en route from Bridport towards Broadwindsor

‘Southbound’
08.40 Yeovil Bus Station – Bridport
11.00 Beaminster Monmouth Gardens – Bridport
12.20 Beaminster Monmouth Gardens – Bridport
12.55 Yeovil Bus Station – Bridport
These will terminate at Bridport Bus Station and only call at Bridport Community Hospital en route from Broadwindsor towards Bridport.

The entries were anonymous when they were judged, so an extra well done to Stephen for getting both 2nd and 3rd!
