Further to our recent post about the sad passing of Margaret, we would like to share details of her funeral.

Margaret’s funeral will take place on Monday 20th April at 2:30pm at All Saints Church, Merton followed by refreshments here at The Malt Scoop Inn.

All who knew Margaret are welcome to join us in remembering her and supporting Ron and the family at this time ❤️

The funeral of the late Philip Hurst will take place at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple -Aspen Chapel on Thursday 26th March at 12.15pm.
No flowers please, donations if desired will be given to K9 Focus by retiring collection or send to N. Lock and Son, Black Torrington, EX21 5QD

Today we had the honour of taking a lovely lady on her last journey, the family had requested we go to Instow for a Hockings Ice Cream by the sea as it was her favourite thing to do. So of course we obliged.

We want to make sure every funeral is as individual as the life that went before it.

Unfortunately due to the length of the hearse, there was no where to park so we had to stop on the double yellow lines for 10 minutes and of course the traffic warden tried to issue us a parking ticket! Thankfully he understood and allowed us to fulfill her last wish.

The funeral of the late Colin Kidby will take place at Hatherleigh Parish Church on Tuesday 10th March at 2.00pm
No flowers please, donations in lieu if desired to be given to Hatherleigh Parish Church Bell Fund and Hatherleigh Cricket Club by retiring collection or sent to Norman Lock and Son, Black Torrington, EX21 5QD
Everyone is welcome join the family for refreshments at the cricket club after the service.

The funeral of the late Phyllis Cobbledick will take place at Meeth Parish Church on Monday 24th November at 12.30pm.
Family flowers only, donations if desired will be shared between Cancer Research UK and Meeth Parish Church Fund by retiring collection or sent to Norman Lock and Son, Black Torrington, EX21 5QD. 01409 231281
The service will be relayed outside and into the village hall where more seating will be available.
There will be a field signposted and open for parking.

The funeral of the late Christine Hall will take place at the North Devon Crematorium, Rowan Chapel on Monday 11th August at 10.00am followed by a Celebration of her life at The George Hotel, Hatherleigh from 2.00pm. Informal dress is encouraged please.
Family flowers only, donations may be given in Christine’s memory to Cancer Research UK by retiring collection or sent to Norman Lock and Son, Black Torrington, EX21 5QD. There will be donation box at the crematorium and also at the George Hotel.
