▪ Proposed Petanque Pitch at Beccles Quay ▪

Pétanque is a highly accessible, low-impact game that can be played by almost anyone regardless of age or physical ability.

Beccles Twinning Association has applied to Sport England for their assistance to fund the construction of a Pétanque Pitch at the Quay.
Which will be freely accessible to all.

Please help us to support them by completing this simple questionnaire by the 26th June.

⚠️ Waveney Meadow Car Park Closure – Wednesday 17th June⚠️

Please be advised that Waveney Meadow Car Park, Beccles, NR349PJ, will be closed all day today and overnight (Wednesday 17th June) to allow emergency repair works to take place.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding while these essential repairs are carried out.

If your vehicle is currently parked in the car park, please do not worry. Contractors on site will be available to direct you safely out of the car park.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Beccles Open Gardens today!✨🌸

We hope to have made a large amount of money for our 2026 Beccles Mayors Appeal, as well as many other local charities.
We will reveal the total amount raised over the next few days!

So many of you turned out to support this event - wandering around the gardens, as well as enjoying our local shops, cafes and restaurants!

We have another full day tomorrow, the gardens will be open 11am-4pm.

‼️Tickets will be sold from Beccles Bell Tower 10am-2pm‼️

▪ 21 gardens will be open throughout Saturday and Sunday!
▪ All profit goes to local charities, including the 2026 Beccles Mayors Appeal 'Illuminating Beccles Quay'.
