We are temporarily closing public toilets in Blyburgate in Beccles to carry out external redecoration work.

The toilets will be closed between 15-23 October - we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Redecoration work at the toilets in Hungate Lane and Old Market has recently been completed.

To see all our public toilet locations and see live updates on closures, go to https://www.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/parks-grounds-facilities-and-waterfronts/public-toilets

Discover The Suffolk Coast's museums!

Beccles & District Museum is a friendly, independent museum run entirely by volunteers. It showcases the history and heritage of Beccles and the surrounding area, including its people, where they worked and how they lived.

The museum is housed in the historic Leman House, a short walk from the town centre, and is open every day except Mondays and Thursdays until the end of October.
