A handful of cadets popped into Squadron today to complete their First Class. With teachings in IET and Map Reading, the Cadets learnt some amazing life skills for the future.

Thank you to those who attended and supported the day.

Nine members from the C & E Region spent the weekend taking part in an Archery Instructors Course delivered by Aim4sport Archery . After two days of learning, practice, and assessment, all nine participants uccessfully gained their qualification to instruct archery.

The course covered the fundamentals of safe range setup, coaching techniques, equipment handling, and how to introduce beginners to the sport in a safe, engaging way. With their new qualifications, these instructors are now able to confidently deliver archery sessions within their units and wider activities.

We’re especially pleased to share that among the 3 participants from N & S Wing was one of our own Civilian Instructors, Shannon.

This fantastic achievement adds a great addition to the skills we can offer here at 759 Squadron.

Well, done to everyone who completed the course and massive thank you to 203 Gainsborough Sqn for hosting the course.

A huge congratulations to all our cadets for their incredible accomplishments at our Awards Evening on the 9th of February! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment have truly shone through, and it’s inspiring to see the progress you’ve made and the impact you’re having in our community.

A special shout out to those who took home trophies, including the Tornado Trophy, Les Baldry Marksmanship Trophy, W.O.’s Shield, Alan Martin Memorial Trophy, C.O.’s Award, Miller Trophy, Dexterous Dobson Award, Cadet of the Year Award (Chloe Smithson Memorial Trophy), Hart Cup, and Mayoral Trophy! 🏆👏
