75yrs ago Park Farm House had a conspicuous new wing added (on the right in second photo)
The Earl of Stradbroke (Keith Rous) restored the house back to its original glory in the 1990s by demolishing the extraneous wing
Recently Keith’s son Hektor & wife Sarah have renovated Park Farm House
Sleeping up to 18 people, it’s available to rent directly from www.henhampark.com/stay
If you are interested in a little more family history detail: the new wing was added (to the already large farmhouse) because Henham Hall was bulldozed (after serving as a WWII hospital) in 1953, and Park Farm House subsequently did not seem quite grand enough!
