It’s that time again! Come along to First Friday Coffee this Friday ☕️

Did you know your library is about more than just books? It’s also about community 💙
Following the success of our previous coffee mornings, we’re making them a regular event!

Join us on the first Friday of every month, starting from next Friday 1st May.
We’ll be here from 10:30 am until noon with the kettle on. Hope to see you there ☕️

Read to the Beat! 🎶

We had lots of fun at the library with our Musical Instrument session as part of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme.

The children enjoyed having a go making instruments and making some music!🎵

A big thank you to everyone who came along and joined in we loved seeing so many young musicians getting involved! 💙

The school holidays are the perfect time to discover a new favourite book!

We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of young readers into the library over the summer.
Whether your child reads every day or is just discovering reading, everyone is welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Morning and ‘Read to the Beat’ music party to launch this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. It was fantastic to see so many people supporting us, including our MP Kevin Hollinrake, and there was a lovely atmosphere all day long.

We’ve had so many lovely comments about our refurbished library, and it was wonderful to see our new children’s area so well used 💙

The Summer Reading Challenge is now open! If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still plenty of time. Pop into the library to collect your pack, discover some brilliant books and join in the fun all summer long. 📚
