The Hope Foundation UK is a registered Charity working to save the street and slum children of Kolkata from lives of pain, abuse, poverty and darkness.

Hear from Yuri as she shares the difference Brian’s Way Resource Centre is making for her son, who is gradually progressing with the specialist support he receives.

Brian’s Way supports children with special needs through functional therapies, special education and skills development, while also providing guidance to parents and caregivers so they can continue supporting their children at home.

Last year alone, 237 children benefited from the project, with 219 making progress through functional therapies and 145 progressing through special education.

If we didn’t exist…

For many in Kolkata, children would remain on the streets without protection.
Minor illnesses would become life-threatening without access to care.
Education would be out of reach, and with it, the chance of a different future.
Vulnerable mothers and babies would not receive support when they need it most.

Across our programmes, we see the reality of what happens when support is missing and what becomes possible when it is not.

From healthcare and education to protection and early support, this work ensures that children and families living in extreme poverty in Kolkata are not left unseen, unsupported, or behind.
