'Checktember' has rolled round again - that time of year when we remind you about the money saving boiler challenge.

Combi boilers work best when they heat radiators to 60°C or below. But this ‘flow temperature’ is often set much too high, between 70°C-80°C.

Turning down the flow temperature to 60°c or below can reduce your heating bill each year and reduce energy waste from your home.

The weather has definitely taken a turn 🌧☔

We have started to see an increase in calls around flooding following the heavy rain.

If you are experiencing flooding and require assistance, you can call:
- Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council to report flooding from surface water and ground water, and to maintain safe roads during flooding.
- Environment Agency to report flooding from a main river
- Anglian Water - Love Every Drop to report blockages in public sewers
- Highways Agency to report flooding on a road.
