Bedfordshire Supported Housing is looking for a reliable and practical Handyman to join our team.

📍 Bedford
🕐 Part-time – 15–20 hours per week
💷 £14–£14.50 per hour

You’ll help with general repairs, maintenance, grounds work, safety checks and preparing accommodation, making sure our services remain safe, comfortable and well-maintained.

Are you caring, compassionate and passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives?

Bedfordshire Supported Housing is looking for Community Support Workers to join our team within Domiciliary Care.

📍 Location: Francis House – with regular travel across the Bedford area
💼 Hours: Full-time, Part-time & Zero Hours
💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour

As a Community Support Worker, you’ll support people in their own homes and help them live as independently and safely as possible.

❤️ What you’ll be doing
• Providing person-centred care and support
• Supporting daily living, personal care, shopping, budgeting and household tasks
• Supporting medication where required
• Attending health and social care appointments
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes
• Supporting service users with their goals, independence and everyday lives

🌱 What we’re looking for

We’re looking for people with:
✔️ Excellent communication skills
✔️ A caring, professional and compassionate approach
✔️ Previous care experience
✔️ The ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ Flexibility and adaptability
✔️ A commitment to equality and person-centred support
✔️ Health & Social Care Level 2 or equivalent
