The Jobs Hub Jobs Connect are now delivering a new UK Government-funded supported employment programme called Connect to Work. Jobs Connect delivered by The Jobs Hub.

This new service will help residents back into work with intensive ongoing support. The Jobs Hub provides an all age careers advice and employment support service for people that live in and around Bedford . We provide impartial advice, guidance and information on areas including, education, employment and training. We can also signpost you to other agencies for support and advise on health, benefits, housing, leisure, voluntary opportunities and lots of other issues – our aim is to support you in reaching your goals! The centre is manned by highly qualified Personal Advisor's (P.A)

We work closely with the Job centre in providing support for clients claiming JSA/income support and other benefits, and have regular representation from the NCS (national careers service)

The centre also has various agencies attending on a regular basis offering a wide variety of information, from housing options to Bedford College, BPHA, Develop, Exemplas, Wenta and TCHC.

What you'll be doing:
• Lead dementia support groups and activities.
• Plan and deliver Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) sessions.
• Provide meaningful and enjoyable activities
• Create a friendly, safe, and supportive environment
• Support and work alongside volunteers.
• Keep attendance and payment records up to date.
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety.
• Liaise with venues and help organise sessions.

Additional Information
Travel across Bedford Borough and Mid Bedfordshire is required.
