Today we hosted our first ever SEND Family Fun Day and what a fantastic time we had 💙💚🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to those who took the time to share their feedback with us.

We’re incredibly proud to have created a fully inclusive and accessible environment, with small group sizes to make sure everyone had the opportunity to feel welcome, comfortable, heard and included 🫶🏼

It was so lovely to speak to so many parents and hear first-hand about the positive impact that attending an event like this can have — not just for children, but for the whole family. 💛

Today has shown us just how important these opportunities are, and we’re already excited about what we can do next!

Our SEND Family Open Day is happening THIS MORNING! 💙🧡💚

We can’t wait to welcome families along for a morning of fun, activities and the chance to explore everything we have to offer.

🚗 A quick parking reminder: The car park at the Raleigh Centre has very limited parking, so please be prepared to use on-road parking nearby. The closest larger car park is on Prebend Street, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the venue.

Our Education & Training team have had a super busy day visiting 💙10💙 schools to support students receiving their GCSE results, as well as hosting our own open afternoon for those wanting to find out more about our alternative SSG Community College 🏫

That’s a wrap on our August STA swimming courses 🏊🏼‍♀️

We have had 7/7 staff members pass the STA Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification
(some new faces joining our swim schools soon!) and 10/10 pass the STA safety award 🥇

A big thanks to all the families who brought their children along to take part in the practice lessons 💙 we hope everyone had a great time getting some extra swimming in!

An amazing opportunity for your child to try something new, have fun and make some fantastic memories with you in a fully inclusive environment ✨ 🌈

✨ Have a go on our climbing wall
🏹 Try traditional archery
🎯 Take on our slingshots & giant inflatable dart board
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Small group sessions
💙 Parents stay and join in too — siblings are welcome!

The sessions are fully funded by Bedford Borough Council for eligible SEND families.
