The Journey to Pilgrim’s Reckoning 🏃

Stuart is back again sharing part 3 of his journey as he takes on the challenge of the Pilgrim’s Reckoning in less than 2 weeks time!

Stuart and other members of the HopeWorks team are taking part in an 81 mile, 24 hour challenge through the Bedfordshire countryside along the Bunyan trail.

From one act of kindness in Bedford over 35 years ago to the organisation we are today, our journey has continued to grow and change alongside the needs of our community.

The recent closure of valued local organisations has been a loss for our community.

We know many people are wondering where support can now be found, while others are looking for ways to continue contributing their time and skills. We've been humbled by the number of people who have approached us in recent weeks.

What these closures remind us is that community organisations matter, but they can only continue when they have sustainable support behind them.

As demand for our services grows, we're asking those who believe in our work to consider becoming a regular donor. A monthly gift, no matter the size, helps create the financial stability that allows charities like ours to keep showing up for people when they need us.

We cannot replace the organisations we've lost, but together we can ensure that essential support remains available in our community.
