Meet the Operations Team at Keystone Fire Safety 🔥

Following on from last week’s introduction to our Commercial Team, we’re proud to introduce the people who keep our projects moving on site - our Operations Team.

🔹 Simon Raynor - Head of Operations
Simon leads our day-to-day operations, bringing extensive technical expertise to ensure our fire safety works are delivered safely, compliantly and on programme. He supports teams across multiple sites and ensures we remain aligned with current legislation and industry standards.

🔹 Anthony Millar - Area Manager
Anthony assists in the planning and delivery of passive fire protection projects, helping coordinate site teams and uphold Keystone’s quality standards.

🔹 Pawel Gajdamowicz - Area Manager
Pawel oversees on-site operations, ensuring fire safety services are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with Keystone’s expectations.

🔹 Rhys Pemberton - Area Manager
Rhys plays a key role in overseeing our passive fire protection works, supporting site teams and maintaining high standards of compliance and workmanship.

Today, we wanted to touch on a bit of history behind how fire safety regulations began.

Did you know that Fire safety laws were not always so strict, especially during the Elizabethan period?

Then the Great Fire of London came in 1666, and the very first fire safety building regulations were introduced. Builders were required to use brick and stone, and they were also required to include fire-resistant wall separations to stop flames from spreading so easily.

On Wednesday, we had the privilege of joining Origin Housing at their resident meet-and-greet. This winter, Keystone has donated to support residents during the colder Christmas months, and we were humbled to hear that it has already helped 75 families.

We met some incredible women from the Origin team who work tirelessly to support their residents and advocate for the changes their communities need. Their dedication and compassion really stood out. We were also grateful for the chance to speak with residents - listening to their experiences, understanding their concerns, and hearing how the donation will make a difference to them and their families. We even got to share a few conversations about Christmas plans, which involves a heavy amount of food and alcohol! 🍾 🎅
