🧸 WE’RE NOW A TOYBOX PROJECT DROP-OFF POINT! 🧸

We’re pleased to announce that Machen Village Hall is now accepting donations of new and used toys for the ToyBox Project 💚♻️

Got toys your children have outgrown or no longer play with? Bring them along to the hall and help give them a new home and put a smile on another child’s face 😊

🕗 We’re open all week for donations up until 8pm.

⭐ Every Sunday we’ll also open the hall from 10am–5pm so you can simply pop in and drop your donations off.

What does volunteering look like?

At our warehouse in Bedwas, Caerphilly:
- Sorting and testing donated toys
- Checking quality and safety

Remote options (work from home!):
- Puzzle and game checking
- Toy testing for younger children

We have 36 volunteers already — each one makes a direct difference to children across South Wales. Whether you can give one morning a week or one Saturday a month, we'd love to have you.

Arson has consequences.

Over the past few weeks, our crews have responded to a number of deliberately set grassfires across South Wales. These incidents put communities at risk, can impact people's health, threaten wildlife, and divert emergency resources away from people who need us.

Deliberately starting fires is a criminal offence. If you see suspicious behaviour or have information about deliberate fire-setting, please report it to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or the police by calling 101.
