🎲Training Opportunity - 4th June 🎲

We recently launched our new Disability Inclusion & Community Engagement (DI&CE) Project in collaboration with Orchardville - an exciting new project funded by the PEACEPLUS Changemakers Programme.

ROC, alongside Orchardville staff and participants, will deliver 8 workshops over the next two years - with the aim to equip community groups, churches and faith-based groups in how to be more inclusive of those with learning disabilities, autism and neurodivergent conditions.

Our first workshop is coming soon!

Join us on Thursday 4th June at 7pm in the McDonald Centre at Seaview Stadium (Crusaders FC). This training is ideal for staff and volunteers or for those who are curious about helping those with a learning disability in their organisations.

The session will be interactive and informative, with each organisation receiving a free toolkit including fidget spinners, noise cancelling headphones and resources to use in their programmes.

✨Storytelling, music, hands-on crafts and fabulous face painting for the whole family at The MAC, today, 11am-1pm.

✨The Kindness Garden Victoria Square - Easter crafts, face painting & an egg hunt, open until tomorrow (Tuesday 7 April)

✨Lots of free Easter fun CastleCourt - with a reptile zoo, Easter egg decorating & face painting, today, 11am - 2pm.

✨The Big Zoo Egg-venture at Belfast Zoo - Easter egg hunts, characters & hands on activities! Also - don't forget about the new shuttle bus! Today & tomorrow (Tuesday 7 April)

Wishing all our residents, staff and voluntary Board and volunteer students a peaceful and enjoyable Springtime 🌼 break and Happy Easter 🐣 . The Easter bunny 🐰 is putting his feet up after our busy and fun community get together last week, huge thanks to our team of staff and volunteers and all our many visitors and the incredibly generous donation from CTS contractors for the Easter 🐣 eggs and our neighbour for the cute kids Easter baskets 🧺 - we look forward to welcoming everyone back when the Grove Community Housing office re-opens next Monday 13th April! Go easy on the Easter eggs !
