The Junior Ministers congratulated all the finalists and said the awards celebrated the profound contribution that nursing staff make to the health and wellbeing of people here.

Junior Minister Aisling Reilly was pleased to welcome Dr Tim Campbell, Executive Director of the Saint Patrick Centre, and participants of the Young Ambassador Programme to Parliament Buildings.

The group of young people from the USA and Canada are here to learn more about our history, heritage and peacebuilding journey and were keen to hear about the work of the Executive and the NI Assembly.

Marking six months since Boeing’s acquisition of the business, the First Minister and the Economy Minister reaffirmed their commitment to supporting investment, innovation and high-value jobs, and welcomed the opportunity to discuss Boeing’s future plans.

Junior Ministers Joanne Bunting and Aisling Reilly welcomed Malawi’s High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Dr Thomas John Bisika, on his first visit to Belfast, alongside Malawi’s Honorary Consul, Carson McMullan.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues of shared interest and explore potential areas for future cooperation.
