Cairde na Palaistíne will be heading to the western shore of Lough Neagh this Sunday and we encourage all who can to join us.

Extracting from and polluting Lough Neagh does not serve our communities. Our political class have knowingly allowed our environment to become disastrously polluted for the sake of short-term corporate profits. And we see that same attitude displayed as politicians shrug at the near-constant flow of deadly cargo and troops through Aldergrove.

We are inspired by the resistance and the love of their land that the Palestinian people demonstrate and we aim to act in solidarity by weakening US and British imperialism where we are.

We want the Lough back and NATO out!

The fight for democratic control of our lands against extraction, and the fight against military funding and expansion share a common goal, in resisting the role of Ireland as a sacrifice zone facilitating U.S. imperialism.

Settler colonialism aims to dominate, extract, and separate people from their lands and culture. It is this process that led to the Lough being owned by a British earl and British bases being stationed all over the country.

We are inspired by the resistance to dispossession and love of land that the Palestinian people demonstrate and aim to act in material solidarity by weakening imperialism where we are.

The dispossession, plundering and pollution of Lough Neagh does not serve our communities. Use of our lands, infrastructure and public finances to support the U.S. military does not serve our communities. The same FDI led, going for growth, cowardice which is killing the Lough is the same attitude we see when politicians shrug at the near constant flow of deadly cargo and troops through Aldergrove and facilitate arms deals.

We want the Lough back and NATO out!

A chairde, 99 U.S. Military aircrafts entered Aldergrove airspace this April.

16 landed

The number of C-17s passing through and landing remains high- their main function is cargo and troop transport

Towards the end of the month numerous reports of shipments of weapons to Israel emerged

We continue to see an increase of military planes in our airspace also land in Ramstein, Germany.

This is the largest U.S. base outside of the U.S. which serves as the control hub for U.S. operations in East Asia, also a central location for NATO operations.

The U.S. has been allowed to continue their material support to the I.O.F using our airspace and airport as a stopping grounds we ask ourselves...

On Friday 17th of April we were back in court for our judicial review. Our case challenges the funding practices of Invest NI, who have given close to 20 million pounds of public money to arms manufacturers.

The judge noted that our case is important and covers contentious issues, so deserves to have its proper day in court. In order for this to happen, he has permitted us to bring in the Department of Finance.

This means that both the Department of Finance and the Department for the Economy can be held accountable for their lack of oversight in Invest NI’s decision-making, which we believe goes against their own policies regarding use of public money.

To put it plainly - there are rules that Invest NI seem to have broken when they made the decision to give tax payer’s money to companies manufacturing parts for F35s. They must be challenged on this. F-35s continue to be used to commit war crimes. It is inconceivable that money from our taxes has been used to make weapons of war. Every single one of us has blood on our hands thanks to this decision. We need transparency, accountability, and a reality check for our politicians - they cannot claim to care about peace, justice, and life when they siphon off our tax money to the war machine.

We’re extremely grateful for our lawyers at Madden & Finucane, who continue to put in a huge amount of work to bring this case to court. As soon as the next court date is announced we will share it with our followers, and welcome your support at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Aldergrove/Belfast International Airport 🚨❌✈️

A chairde, 120 U.S. Military aircrafts entered Aldergrove airspace this March.

Over a quarter landed.

This is a substantial increase from 53 passing through the airspace in February

Over HALF of these aircrafts were C-17s - their main function is cargo and troop transport. C-17s can only travel 2400 nautical miles at a time. Palestine is 5790 nautical miles from the U.S. so we can assume refuelling happened at Aldergrove.
In March a quarter of aircrafts in our airspace also landed in Ramstein, Germany. This is the largest U.S. base outside of the U.S. which serves as the control hub for U.S. operations in East Asia, also a central location for NATO operations.

An increasing number of European countries have effectively closed their airspace to the U.S. military. Meanwhile, Aldergrove has recently been touted as a key location for both U.S. and British military operations

Laying host to every arm of the U.S. military from refuelling to troop layover.

We must scrutinise how the U.S. has been allowed to continue their illegal agression on Iran and their continuing material support to the I.O.F we ask ourselves...

CAMPAIGN UPDATE

Oosto have sold technology to the Israeli Ministry of Defence, the Israeli Police and the Israeli Prison Service. Oosto’s technology has been a vital component of the occupation of Palestine. It terrorised and caused misery to Palestinians on a daily basis.

The company was awarded the Israel Defence Prize in 2019 for significantly improving the ‘security of the state’. During the presentation, Israel’s defense minister lauded the company for preventing ‘hundreds of terror attacks’ using ‘large amounts of data.’
On 4th June 2025, Activists entered, occupied, and unfurled flags at the registered address of Oosto in Belfast.
On 9th June 2025 Oosto’s Registered office address changed from Clockwise Offices, River House, 48-60 High Street, Belfast BT1 2BE Northern Ireland to 2 North City Business Centre Unit 35 Duncairn Gardens Belfast BT15 2GG.

This business was sharing space with NCBC, a charitable organisation and other businesses located by the peace wall.
Cairde Palestine contacted the CEO and Office Manager of NCBC demanding they cease renting their space to Oosto.

How can a business park which houses local NI businesses and charities remain neighbours to a surveillance company who profits from terrorising and targeting Palestinians in a genocide?
You, the community, joined us in our letter writing campaign to demand answers from NCBC and their charity neighbours.

We contacted the board of trustees of the NCBC.

Finally on the 19th August 2025, the office manager replied to us stating they had received all correspondence and was forwarded to the board.

As per our demand, they referred the issue to the charity commission.

On the 21st August 2025, Oosto applied to be struck off the register in “N.I”, their only European office.

On the 18th November Oosto (formely AnyVision NI) was officially dissolved and can no longer profit on our land.

When we organise, we get results.

We say to all businesses who are profiting from the Israeli war machine, you are not welcome in Ireland.

🚨Sunday 8th of March 2026 2pm Aldergrove/Belfast International Airport🚨

A chairde, we’ve reached the two year mark for the vigil at Aldergrove. Over the past two years people have shown up in hail, rain and sun and everything in between. This two year mark is a sobering one, despite the continued presence at the Airport every month Aldergrove is busier than ever.
Over the past two years we’ve remained steadfast in our commitment to bringing awareness to what is happening in our airspace and airports. February has been extremely busy which has seen double the amount of flights and stopovers compared to October 2025 (which was considered busy at the time).

22 U.S. military jets landed over the month of February
53 more used the airspace

On 28th of February alone, 6 U.S. cargo planes landed at aldergrove over the course of the day.

Most of those had come from Crete, with several tracked specifically to Souda Bay base - a U.S. base reported to be playing a key role in the war on Iran.
Activity increased over the month to a maximum in the last few days of February, coinciding with massive build up of US forces in west Asia.
Most flights moving between the U.S. West Coast and NATO/USAF bases in Germany show trackers going dark over the Mediterranean or continuing toward West Asia. It is likely that at least some are supplying the war in Iran.

US ‘armada’ on Iran facilitated through our airspace and ports.
Over the last few days there has been a significant increase in U.S. military flight activity in our region.
Fuel tankers, cargo planes and fighter jets have traveled through / over the 6 counties as part of a huge mobilisation of US military force in West Asia including a flight tracked directly to Ben Gurion this morning.
We continue to be implicated in imperialist violence - this is untenable.
Will any of our politicians stand up to this?

Our comrade is travelling to the belly of the beast for their alleged crime of Opposing genocide and supporting a proscribed terrorist group which has reportedly damaged weapons used to commit genocide.

We stood at Aldergrove yesterday in support of our comrade who is facing into the British empire’s proposed justice system.
This same system continues to bend to genocidal warmongers and US foreign policy whilst it ignores the cries of its own citizens, and allows their citizens to die in profiteering prisons.

We know there is no such thing as British Justice in any true sense of the word.
The justice system is open for business, Israeli weapons manufacturers and their insurance companies can lobby the Home Office for their desired outcome, a total shutdown on radical direct action.

We see no justice served.

We have Heba, Kamran and Lewie’s continued resistance to support and we must use all our power to get their demands met.
We only have each other and there are many many more of us than them.
