Following disorder that happened after the Calvin Harris concert last weekend we have been liaising with PSNI yesterday and will continue to do so across the rest of the week and weekend ahead of Emerge festival.

A policing operation will be in place to try and avoid some of the awful behaviours that residents have had to put up with during events at Boucher.

Street Safe teams will be out across the weekend and will work with all agencies and community reps.

GVRT is pleased to be working in partnership with Donegall Road Primary on a Department of Education Funded Project via RAISE which was designed to tackle Educational Underachievement.

As part of this we are pleased to have been able to employ a Family Support Officer.

Here is a quick hello from Cathy :)

Hello From Your New Family Support Officer!

My name is Cathy Rodgers, and I am absolutely thrilled to join GVRT and Donegall Road Primary's school community.

My role is entirely focused on ensuring your child feels happy, confident, and supported during their time at School.

School can sometimes feel overwhelming for young people and navigating it as a parent isn't always easy either. My door is always open for a relaxed chat, a cup of tea, or a phone call.

We are a team, and we share the exact same goal: helping your child feel happy and successful.

You can contact me via email at [email protected] , or via phone on 02890333527 , or simply by calling into GVRT.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.
