On Tuesday we had our fortnightly cozy club in pembroke st hall. This week was curry week and we enjoyed lovely mauds ice cream donated by Eurospar Donegall Road. The next cozy club is Tuesday 2nd November....maybe we will see you there! Everyone welcome 😋

Our well womens group are taking part in Brysons pathways to health & this week were in the gym with michael. Brilliant session for the ladies. They really enjoyed themselves and had the best laugh.

To Everyone who has got a place on Fridays Trip to Fright Night , please be aware of the following :

Bus Leaving GVRT at 6pm Sharp - please be at GVRT for 5.45pm to get marked off.

Everyone will be allocated a Groups either tomorrow / friday morning as time slots are booked for the Woodland Trail and we are being split to accomodate this due to being a large booking.

Someone in each group will be allocated responsibility of the tokens for each attraction , it is therfore important that you stay in your allocated group at all times so as not to miss anything.

It is sensible to wrap up warm and wear old comfortable footwear as it is dark , uneven ground , and you may need to run !

All attractions are paid for , but there will be food trucks so please ensure you have cash / card for these.

Bus will be leaving Fright Night at Mid-Night Sharp so please make sure you know where to go and are on the bus.

Most of all ENJOY - its one of the best nights in our calendar and we hope you all enjoy it.

If for any reason someone is unable to attend please let us know so as not to waste the space.

GVRT is pleased to be running its Annual Trip to Fright Night on Friday 23rd October.

Bus leaves 6pm and will be back around 1am.

This ticket covers entry to all of the attractions plus the Woodland Forest.

Must be from the area.

Registration Opens on Wednesday 7th October from 11am by calling GVRT on 02890333527 only - we wont be able to take names from private message or via tagging or commenting on this post.

Due to this trip being expensive a non refundable deposit of £10 per person will be charged which must be paid to secure your place.

Priority will be given to people who havent done this with us before.

Today Sarah is attending the Northern Ireland Housing Executives Annual Community Conference.

This year the focus is on Creating Connected Communities and the impact Social Enterprise has on its communities.

Our colleague Graham was asked to speak on his own personal journey and the journey of TREE and TREECO.

Absolutely packed room and he smashed it ⭐️

GVRTS Annual Halloween In The Green Event will take place on Wednesday 28th October from 4pm - 7pm.

4pm - 5.30pm Large Outdoor Games , Spooky Face Painting , Arts and Crafts , Circus Skills , pumpkins

5.30pm - Outdoor Cinema with Halloween Goody Bag ( popcorn , juice and sweets)

All you need to do for the film is bring along a chair and blanket and wrap up warm.

Prizes for fancy dress and pumpkin decorating

Parents need to come along with children to supervise and you will need to register for the movie so we know how many to expect. This opens on Wednesday 14th October from 11am - 4pm by calling GVRT on 02890333527.

Yoga starts on Monday for 6 weeks. This is an outreach programme based in our Zen Space (floor above gym). Book in via our events at www.gvrtbelfast.com where you can also pay the fee. Everyone welcome!!
