Folks just a reminder that the Belfast Marathon is on today.

Road closures are in place so expect delays 💙

Best of luck to everyone taking part

There will be some road closures across the city this Sunday 3 May as marathon runners take to the streets - plan your journey in advance via the Belfast City Marathon website.

Some of our recycling centres and amenity sites will also open up later than usual due to the event & Ormeau Recycling Centre will remain closed all day.

👉Blackstaff, Springfield & Agnes Street - will open at 2pm
👉Alexandra Park Avenue & Palmerston Road - will open at 12pm

All our bin collections will take place as normal on bank holiday Monday 4 May - please leave out as usual.

**EASTER BIN COLLECTIONS - REMINDER**

🐣 All bin and box collections are taking place as normal tomorrow (Good Friday, 3 April)

🐣 All bin and box collections are taking place as normal on Easter Tuesday (7 April)

🐣 If your collection is due on Easter Monday (6 April), it will take place on Saturday 4 April instead.

If your bin is not collected by 7pm on Saturday 4 April, please leave it back out again on Monday 6 April (by 7am).

Still not collected? Report it online, via our website, after 7pm on Monday 6 April.

Bryson Recycling collections will follow the same schedule.

Please remember to leave your bin or box out by 7am on your scheduled day.

Bulky waste collections do not take place on public holidays (Easter Sunday and Easter Monday)
