Have Your Say on the Future of Bathing Waters in Northern Ireland!

DAERA invites stakeholders and members of the public to attend an information webinar on the ongoing Bathing Waters Policy Review consultation. The webinar provides an opportunity to hear directly from officials about the key proposals being considered and how they could shape the future management of bathing waters in Northern Ireland. Topics include the length of the bathing season, risk-based monitoring, criteria for identifying bathing waters, candidate sites, the communication of bathing water information, and other proposed policy changes.

The webinar, scheduled for Tuesday 18 August at 10.30am, will also provide practical guidance on how to respond to the consultation and how to nominate new bathing water sites. A dedicated question-and-answer session will give participants the opportunity to seek clarification and explore the proposals in more detail.

🔗The consultation is available at: https://www.daera-ni.gov.uk/consultations/consultation-bathing-waters-policy-review-northern-ireland

We encourage anyone with an interest in bathing waters, water quality, public health, the environment, recreation, tourism, or local communities to join the webinar and contribute to the consultation.

Attendance is limited to 1,000 participants. To secure your place, please register using the link below👇
