Che serata straordinaria quella di venerdì sera al Merchant Hotel di Belfast! 🇮🇹✨
Eravamo riuniti per salutare con affetto e gratitudine la Console Generale Veronica Ferrucci, al termine del suo mandato per la Scozia e l'Irlanda del Nord, un mandato segnato da dedizione, umanità e un autentico senso di comunità.
La sala era piena di volti familiari, di storie condivise, di quella energia che solo la nostra comunità sa creare: la Console Onoraria uscente Federica Ferrieri, il marito di Veronica Marco Caldarera, Mirco Brondolin, i membri del Corpo Consolare dell'Irlanda del Nord, Laura Landi in rappresentanza del Comites Scozia e Irlanda del Nord, l'Associazione Lucchesi nel Mondo, e tutti i connazionali che con la loro partecipazione hanno dato alla serata il suo significato più autentico.
Un momento di particolare rilievo è stato il riconoscimento tributato a Federica Ferrieri per i nove anni trascorsi al servizio della comunità italiana come Console Onorario. Un impegno che va ben oltre il ruolo istituzionale: Federica è figura di riferimento nel tessuto civile e associativo del territorio, e il suo contributo, concreto, costante e generoso, ha lasciato un segno duraturo.
Veronica ha lasciato un segno profondo, nelle istituzioni, nelle collaborazioni, e nei cuori di tutti coloro che hanno avuto la fortuna di lavorare al suo fianco o semplicemente di conoscerla.

What a truly special evening at the Merchant Hotel in Belfast on friday night! 🇮🇹✨
We gathered to bid a warm and grateful farewell to Consul General Veronica Ferrucci, as she concludes her remarkable term for Scotland and Northern Ireland, a tenure defined by dedication, warmth, and a genuine sense of community.
The room was full of familiar faces and shared stories, and the presence of so many members of our community gave the evening its truest meaning: outgoing Honorary Consul Federica Ferrieri, Veronica's husband Marco Caldarera, Mirco Brondolin, members of the Consular Corps of Northern Ireland, Laura Landi representing Comites Scozia e Irlanda del Nord, the Lucchesi nel Mondo Association, and all the fellow Italians who came together to mark this important occasion.
A moment of particular significance was the tribute paid to Federica Ferrieri for her nine years of service as Honorary Consul. Her commitment extends well beyond the institutional role: Federica is a valued presence in the civic and associative life of this community, and her contribution, steady, concrete, and generous, has left a lasting mark.
Veronica has left a deep impression, on institutions, on collaborations, and on the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have worked alongside her or simply to have known her.
