Free Training and Work Experience for Young People

Ravine is a conservation project where young people with mental health issues can gain work experience with specialists in horticulture and agriculture helping to promote and conserve the unique wildlife and natural habitats of our site. Ravine hosts 2 social enterprises, Market Garden and Explore, as well as a Patron Programme for local businesses at our site on the outskirts of Belfast. 100% of

the profit from these are re-invested into Ravine to support current and future trainees. During their time with Ravine, our trainees will work towards gaining OCN Qualification in Horticulture and a John Muir Award; awarded for growing awareness and responsibility for the natural environment.

Develop new skills and gain qualifications in a supportive learning environment at our South Belfast Nature Reserve whilst working alongside industry specialists in our Social Enterprises🌱

When you join us, you will receive:

- Level 1 OCN in Horticulture
- Level 1 OCN in Personal Success & Wellbeing
- Employability Support
- Personalised Future Options Plan
- Free Uniform
- Travel Allowance

We welcome self-referrals & referrals from healthcare professionals, agencies, or organisations supporting young people facing mental health challenges✏️
