This summer, young people from the Colin area have been making their mark, at home and around the world. 🌍

From walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain to volunteering in New Hampshire, USA, and taking on leadership challenges in Annecy, France, our young people have shown incredible ambition, leadership and community spirit. Closer to home, they've also been getting stuck into environmental projects and giving up their summer to volunteer on local children's schemes.

Conor Murphy from EA Youth Service said: "There is so much to celebrate in the Colin area, and these achievements show the talent, leadership and generosity of our young people."

EA Commercial Procurement Services are delighted, as a critical element of their Social Value Initiative, to take delivery of 350 sets of period product packs to help support children and young people at home.

To meet the EA’s statutory obligation to deliver free period products in EA buildings, CPS went to tender for the provision. When designing the tender and discussing social value delivery with the panel and project working group, a potential gap was identified that would have seen some children and young people not supported.

The panel and working group agreed to include a Social Value Initiative that specified provision of “at home packs” as an example of an initiative that could be delivered, supporting the wellbeing of children and young people in their homes.
