Gorenjka chocolate brand is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. The Lesce-based namesake chocolate producer, part of food group Žito, marked the occasion by making a giant, 90-kilo chocolate bar. The chocolate factory opened its doors this to visitors curious about how chocolate is made.

Gorenjka was the most important chocolate producer and one of the most recognisable confectionery brands in Slovenia.

Hope you managed to catch some of the amazing coverage of the World Rowing Championships at Lake Bled on TV over the last week. The weather and setting were fabulous and the event was a great showcase for Slovenia and for Lake Bled. Even better, the Northern Ireland rowers did amazingly well!
