🚍 WE’RE RECRUITING: BAND 3 BUS DRIVERS
Belfast Health & Social Care Trust is recruiting Band 3 Bus Drivers to support the safe and caring transport of patients and clients across Trust services.
💙 About the role
You’ll provide a safe, reliable and compassionate transport service, supporting elderly people, individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable service users to travel between their homes, hospitals, day centres and appointments.
This is more than driving, it’s about care, dignity and connection.
🧩 What you’ll be doing
✔ Safely transporting patients and clients
✔ Assisting passengers on and off vehicles (including wheelchair users)
✔ Ensuring seatbelts and safety equipment are used correctly
✔ Supporting clients during journeys with care and respect
✔ Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness
✔ Reporting concerns and incidents appropriately
✔ Working as part of a supportive Trust transport team

🧹 About the role
As a Support Services Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe and clean hospitals and facilities across the Trust.
You’ll be involved in:
⭐Cleaning and maintaining clinical and non-clinical areas
⭐Supporting infection prevention by keeping environments safe and hygienic
⭐Basic catering duties (e.g. preparing and serving meals)
⭐Laundry tasks such as handling bed linen
⭐Supporting patients, staff and visitors with a friendly, professional approach
🕒 Shifts available
Afternoon / evening shifts (perfect for school leavers or those wanting part-time work)
Various locations across Belfast Trust
Additional roles coming up over the next 6 months (waiting list duration)
✅ What you need (Essential Criteria)
You don’t need formal qualifications — but we are looking for people who can demonstrate:
✨Basic literacy and numeracy skills
✨Good organisation and ability to work quickly and accurately
✨Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
✨Willingness to follow training and complete induction programmes
✨Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

Belfast Trust are now recruiting Band 3 Senior Nursing Assistants (Nurse Bank).

This is an opportunity to work in a Band 3 Nursing Assistant role (separate from practice placement).

✅ Work as part of the ward team as a Senior Nursing Assistant
✅ Build confidence in a real clinical healthcare setting

If you are a student Nurse (Adult, Mental Health, Children’s or Learning Disability) or student Midwife, this is a great opportunity to:
