๐Ÿ’ง Small changes can make a BIG impact! ๐ŸŒฑ
As part of our Climate Conscious Communities programme, we're delighted to be welcoming Northern Ireland Water to Windsor Women's Centre for an engaging session on saving water at home and in the garden.
From shorter showers and fixing leaks to collecting rainwater and watering more efficiently, we'll explore simple changes that can help reduce waste, save money and support a more sustainable future.

Over the past few months, we've had the privilege of delivering Own My Life to incredible groups of women. ๐Ÿ’œ

These photos show our own Lisa and Aisling facilitating sessions throughout the programme creating space for reflection, learning, growth, and connection.

Own My Life is a truly transformational programme that supports women to recognise their strengths, explore their values, build confidence, and reclaim ownership of their lives. Every week, we are inspired by the courage, wisdom, and resilience of the women who attend.

We never take for granted the trust placed in us. It is an honour to walk alongside women on their journeys and witness the power of sisterhood in action. ๐Ÿ’—

We're also excited to be part of the new Inspired pilot programme, adapted from Own My Life for young girls, helping these important messages reach the next generation.

Thank you to every woman for sharing this journey with us. The sisterhood is strong. โœจ

๐ŸŒ World Environment Day

This yearโ€™s theme reminds us that the Earth is sending urgent signals on climate change โ€” and that the signals we choose to send back matter.

Today, weโ€™re celebrating the women taking climate action in their communities every week through growing, repairing, reusing and sharing skills.

Climate Conscious Communities is about climate justice, amplifying womenโ€™s voices and creating practical change that starts close to home.

Led by women. Rooted in community. Taking action ๐Ÿ’š

โ™ป๏ธReuse, Repair & Rewear | Circular Economy in Action โ™ป๏ธ

To mark the start of Reuse and Repair Week, inspired by NIRN - Northern Ireland Resources Network, weโ€™re celebrating the small, practical actions that help reduce waste and give everyday items a second life.

Through our Climate Conscious Communities project, weโ€™ll be supporting women to repair, reuse and rewear โ€” keeping textiles out of landfill, learning new skills and building a more circular, sustainable future together.

Join us next week for:

Monday 1st June | Windsor Women's Centre

Friday 5th June | Chrysalis Women's Centre

Small actions. Big impact. ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒ

Weekly Round-Up ๐ŸŒฑ

This week in Climate Conscious Communities, we were developing new skills, getting inspired and growing confidence together โœจ

๐Ÿ… Windsor Women's Centre Gardening Group practised tomato care, planted onions using the no-dig method and potted beetroot seedlings into bigger pots!

๐Ÿงต At Chrysalis Women's Centre , new sewing sessions got started, welcoming a whole new group of women as they begin building foundational sewing skills and working towards mending and altering clothes

๐ŸŒธ Chrysalis Gardening Group also enjoyed a trip to a local garden centre, exploring different plants, flowers and growing ideas

Small steps. Shared skills. Stronger communities ๐Ÿ’š
