🌊 Year 12 GCSE Geography Fieldwork Update! 🌍
Last week, our brilliant Year 12 GCSE Geography pupils stepped out of the classroom and into the great outdoors to conduct their fieldwork investigation along the River Colin.
Our students worked exceptionally hard to gather vital data for their upcoming exams. It was a fantastic opportunity to see classroom theory come to life in a real-world environment.
We would like to extend a massive thank you to YES services for their kind assistance.

🧠💚 World Mental Health Day

Are they really monstrous, or are they simply isolated? 👀

In Year 10 English, our pupils explored the characters of Gothic horror, questioning how loneliness, isolation and being misunderstood can shape the way others see us. They then created posters to mark World Mental Health Day, reminding us of the importance of empathy, understanding and looking beyond the surface. 💚

Careers Info.
Year 12 classes spent yesterday morning at the Careers Summit, Eikon Centre Lisburn. They had the opportunity to engage with employers, training providers, colleges and universities, to explore and get more information on careers options, for life after St. Colm's.

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the achievements of our incredible students! 🎉

Today, we recognised pupils who have shown academic excellence, extracurricular excellence and sporting excellence throughout the year. 📚🎭⚽️

From outstanding academic accomplishments to achievements beyond the classroom and incredible dedication on the sporting field, we are so proud of everything our students have achieved.

A special thank you to past pupil, Dr Susan Lagdon, for joining us and sharing her journey and words of wisdom with our students. It was wonderful to hear about her own experiences of success and to inspire our young people to believe in themselves, work hard and follow their ambitions. 🌟

A huge congratulations to all our award winners! Your hard work, commitment and determination have truly paid off. 👏💙
