Today, Peter, Shannon, and Sherie engaged with BITMO tenants in East Grange Drive and East Grange Garth, distributing Gala flyers and gathering valuable feedback. We will continue our outreach efforts this week in East Grange View and East Grange Square. 🌞

What an inspiring few days of networking and thought‑provoking presentations. A brilliant reminder of the power of tenant‑led housing.

We showcased the work of BITMO’s GATE, highlighting how we deliver activities and projects. Tracey’s workshop was incredibly well received, a real celebration of what happens when tenants lead and shape services.

We were also thrilled to see BITMO recognised once again, with our Community Fund winning Project of the Year. 🥳 A huge achievement for everyone involved.

Board members feel energised and ready to build on this momentum and continuing to make Belle Isle a home for the community to feel proud of.

We have been talking to people in East Grange Road this week. There's a lot of work going on with the planters in the East Granges. Some people would like to take them over and look after them themselves, like the community in the turning on East Grange Road have already done. Other people are interested in coming to BITMO's GATE, the Belle Isle Gala, the repair cafe, or to join litter picking groups. Other BITMO tenants are interested in becoming BITMO shareholders and coming to meetings. These are just a few of the conversations. We will be in East Grange Drive, Garth and View next week. We are the Community Development Team. Repairs or anti-social behaviour should be reported to our housing office.
