At Routes to Work, we know finding a job isn't always the first step, and that's okay. If you have spent a lot of time away from work and you are feeling stuck and not sure where to go from here, our support meets you where you are.

We help with confidence building through training and one-to-one support, connect you to wellbeing services for your mental and physical health, and link you with community support to ease feelings of isolation. We understand support for anxiety after being out of work, and we're here if you're dealing with low mood and no motivation too.

Our service is free, confidential and there's no expectation to start looking for work straight away when you register with us.

It's NOT a job fair and there will be NO expectations to encourage you to start looking for work straight away after attending the event. This event is the chance for you to find support to help you find your feet.

Between 10am and 2pm you'll find a warm welcome, real conversations, and a chance to find out the vast range of community support that's available to you — this includes advice on your benefits and entitlements, physical & mental health support, support if you're an unpaid carer and much more!

Coming along will not affect your benefits, allowances or pension in any way.

It was fantastic to be involved in Kenneth Stevenson MP and Job Centre Plus' Airdrie and Shotts Employers event.

We were there to support everyone who attended by giving them more information on the employability support we provide that can help upskill, highlight local job opportunities in North Lanarkshire and build confidence and address barriers into employment.

We loved being there amongst all of the other great organisations and employers who were there on the day!

Come along tomorrow and hear directly from our trainer Andy Thom about what this free training course involves and how it could open the door to a stable, rewarding role within NHS Lanarkshire.

This 8 day course starts on the 1st of July and is a fantastic job training opportunity in Wishaw that could get you in with one of Scotland's most in demand employers.
