Unfortunately, due to very low numbers for the event, we have had to cancel tonight's author talk with Glenn Bryant. Thank you to all those who were able to advertise this event for us.

We are hoping to have Glenn back sometime in the future when timing might be more optimal for everyone, but in the meantime if you would like to see him he will be doing a talk at Reading Library in November.

Our short story competition launches today! We are looking forward to uncovering fresh talent, imaginative stories and unique voices from across the county. The competition provides a fantastic opportunity for locals to turn the page on their writing journey, get their work discovered, and share their stories with library customers across Oxfordshire.

Open to everyone aged 7 and above, the competition features three categories: Children, Young Adult and Adult. If you know any budding authors who have a story waiting to be written, please encourage them to enter!

Join us on Friday 25 September at 7:00pm for an evening with Glenn Bryant, acclaimed World War II historical fiction author.

With a Master's degree in Modern History and extensive research into the persecution of disabled victims during the Holocaust, Glenn brings a unique perspective to his writing. His work has been featured by the Melbourne Holocaust Museum, Australia's largest Holocaust museum, and his latest novel, Darkness Does Not Come At Once, explores this powerful and often overlooked chapter of history.

Hear Glenn read from his work, share fascinating historical insights, and answer audience questions throughout the evening.

This is a free event, but booking is essential

Easter has arrived and we have fun activities going on in Berinsfield Library!

Everyday we will be having Lego available to build with, see if you can challenge yourself to make an easter egg out of Lego!

We will also have craft materials available for those who want to make easter cards, or any other ideas!

There are board games as well for anyone who wants a break from technology! We have games like Monopoly, Battleship and Connect 4.

At the desk you will find easter themed colouring to do and we can hang them up in the library if you would like!

None of these activities require booking, they are all drop in. However, all children of primary school age must be accompanied by an adult.

We look forward to seeing you!
