The next Full Council meeting will be held on Monday 18th May 2026 at 7pm in the Town Hall. Members of the public are always welcome to attend a council meeting and may discuss with Councillors any item of concern. The first 30 minutes of this meeting is set aside for this purpose and to hear from District and County Councillors To see the agenda:

Come and join us on Monday 27th April at 7pm in the Town Hall. This is your opportunity to learn more about what the council does and we have some exciting guest speakers. This is also a chance to ask any questions about the town and what we are doing to try and make it an amazing place to live! Please join us 🙏

We also have our Annual Town Assembly on Monday 27th April at 7pm, in the Town Hall, this includes presentations on: Jenner celebration 2030, Flooding and our new wardens, Town Regeneration Project update, Berkeley Cemetery update as well as updates from our District and County Councillors, all residents are welcome.

We also have a Councillor vacancy so this would be a great time to see what the council is planning for the year ahead and consider if you would like to help shape the future of your Town. No experience necessary just a positive attitude, and the willingness to be part of a team striving to make Berkeley a better place to live. For further details email: [email protected]

Next week Gloucestershire County Council will be carrying out some urgent fence and path repair to the footpath running alongside the Berkeley Pill to Avon Lodge. There will be an official closure in place from Monday to Friday to enable the work to be carried out safely. I have asked the landowner at the Avon Lodge end to lock the pedestrian gate to prevent access during this time. The alternative will need to be via Lynch Road:
