Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

The weather outside might be getting worse, but it's warm and dry in our library!

Did you know we stock a wide range of magazines, ranging from Classic Cars to Women's Health, Country Homes to Coast, and everything in between? Why not pop in, grab yourself a quiet, comfortable spot, and spend some time reading to avoid the rain?

Reading Friends will take place Wednesday 21st October at 11am. Our group is the perfect choice for anyone who likes to chat about books but would prefer to make their own decisions when it comes to what to read. We discuss a book we've read in the last month, how we felt about it, whether we would recommend it or whether to steer clear! The sessions are free to join, and you can come to as many or as few sessions as you like.
