You can now add your library card to your mobile wallet 🪪

To do this...

1. Download the Spydus Library app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Select Awen Libraries from the drop-down list.
3. Click Log In or Join.
4. Add your Borrower ID (from your physical library cards) and PIN. Or you can select 'join now' to become a new member.
5. Once logged in you can use the Spydus Library app to search our library catalogue or select the circle icon at the top right to open your digital membership card.
6. Add the card to your Apple or Google wallet.
7. Your card will all your membership details will be available to use, alongside loyalty cards, tickets and passes, all in one convenient place.

To celebrate the National Year of Reading, we’re aiming for a record number of young challengers this year, and we’d love you to be part of it.

You can register your child or children at the launch event, or pop into any of our Awen Libraries to sign up.

Be a part of our exhibition and share your old photos. We would love to see your childhood photos, school photos, football teams, your grandparents photos, and any other images from the past 200 years. You can either donate them, or we’ll scan your photos on-site.

To celebrate World Book Night on Thursday 23rd April, we’ve got free copies of the emotional and romantic ‘Quick Read’ Sweet Charity by Britain's best-loved saga author Rosie Goodwin to gift to our library members!

According to The Reading Agency, one in six adults in the UK find reading difficult, and one in three people do not regularly read for pleasure. Their ‘Quick Read’ titles are designed to inspire emerging or lapsed readers to get into the habit of reading.

Pop into your local library to pick up your copy of Sweet Charity, while stocks last!
