FISH are responsible for providing information to families of children and young people and the professionals who support these f

amilies. You can find information about the following areas:

Looking for childcare
Children's centres
Education and learning
Health
Help lines
Leisure centres
Money matters
Parent toddler groups
Support for parents and young people
Activities and services for children with additional needs

Two Year Old Funded Places (2FP) - childcare funding for 2-year-olds
Information, advice and guidance about the new scheme, who can apply for 15 hours of funded childcare for their 2-year-old and where you can access those hours. Funded Early Education (FEE) - childcare funding for 3 and 4-year-olds
All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week during term time from the term after their third birthday. Some 3 and 4-year-olds may be entitled to 30 hours - an additional 15 hours per week. Other ways of paying for childcare

We understand that planning a day out can sometimes feel a little overwhelming and it’s easy to forget those small but important items that help make your visit more comfortable.

That’s why we’ve introduced our new Neurodiverse Borrow Box 💙

📍 Available to borrow from the Welcome Centre (open 10am–4pm), the box includes:

🕶️ Sunglasses

🎧 Ear defenders

🔍 Magnifying glasses

🔭 Binoculars

🧸 A selection of fidget toys

Items are subject to availability, and we kindly ask that everything is returned at the end of your visit so others can benefit too.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy their visit comfortably and safely, which is why we offer:

✅ Beach wheelchairs, including specialist chairs that can go into the sea
✅ Accessible disabled toilets
✅ Beach chalets with wheelchair ramps directly to the chalet
✅ Manual wheelchair access onto the back of the land train

We’re proud to help make the seafront accessible for all visitors so everyone can enjoy a day by the coast ☀️
