🇬🇧 Bicester Civic Service & Parade – Sunday 6th September 🇬🇧

Join us as we come together to celebrate the strong and enduring relationship between the Town of Bicester, our churches, and Bicester Garrison at this year's Civic Service and Parade.

This annual event is an important tradition that reflects the close partnership between our local community, the Armed Forces, and the Church. It is an opportunity to recognise those who serve, honour our shared history, and celebrate the values of unity, service, and community that make Bicester such a special place.

📍 Parade: Market Square, Bicester
🕝 Arrive from 2:15pm – Come along and watch the parade as it makes its way through the town.

⛪ Civic Service:
🕒 3:00pm – Everyone is warmly invited to attend the Civic Service at St Edburgs church following the parade.

Whether you're a long-time resident, new to the town, a member of the Armed Forces community, or simply want to be part of this special occasion, we'd love to see you there.

Let's come together to celebrate all that unites our community. Everyone is welcome.

🏁 Do your children fancy taking Lightning McQueen for a spin?

This Friday at Bicester Motion, we’re hosting our Veterans@Heritage: Best of British Families Day – a free day with Mission Motorsport for the whole Armed Forces community, with plenty going on for all ages.

🚗 Driving opportunities for children:
• 3+ Get behind the wheel of Lightning McQueen, with a responsible adult in the passenger seat where the pedals are.
• 10+ Have a go at both the steering and pedals in our dual-control MX-5.

And for those 16+, there’ll be passenger laps around the Bicester Motion test circuit in an amazing selection of British-built cars, supported by the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club's Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire Regions.
There’ll be lawn games, remote-control cars, race simulator and static displays to explore as well as enjoying a brew and some cake.

Come along, bring the family and enjoy a day of cars, driving and fun with Mission Motorsport

It’s been another busy and inspiring month across the Mission Motorsport community, and this edition is packed with updates on the people, partnerships and programmes that continue to make a real difference to serving personnel, veterans and their families.

We hope you'll enjoy catching up on everything that's been happening, as well as discovering upcoming events and opportunities to get involved.

This summer we have our monthly Banter, Brews & Cars at Three Sisters Circuit, Wigan, where you can enjoy unlimited passenger rides, great company and a relaxed day of motorsport. We also have two fantastic family fun days coming up, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

🧸🌳 Teddy Bears' Picnic is Back! 🌳🧸

Join us on Wednesday 5th August from 11:00am – 4:00pm at Garth Park, Bicester for a fun-filled day the whole family will love!
