Bicester Community Support Service Bicester Community Support Service provides social care support to adults in the local area. Follow us for news and to find out what we do.

We are one of eight community support services run by Oxfordshire County Council, providing activities and services to help people stay healthy, independent and engaged. And you could follow . We welcome discussion about the Oxfordshire Community Support Service and will always seek to answer your queries and pass your feedback on to the relevant person or department. This week the people we support have enjoyed some of the group sessions we run, on Tuesdays it’s Music Mayhem with lots of singing, shakers and drums, this morning we had a SMILE session with music, parachute, and lots of intensive interaction and this afternoon we enjoyed a Bicester Beats session with lots of drumming dancing and singing🥁🎶🪂💃what a way to end the week!

We are delighted to share an exciting update about our Café project, which is being led by Hazel Kerwin and Scott Wilkinson. For further information, please contact them at [email protected].

We shared so much wonderful news during the 30-minute interview, and although the final clip is only one minute long, it offers a lovely glimpse of just how much this project will mean to the people we support.

A huge thank you to Hazel, Scott and the whole team for everything they have achieved so far. Their enthusiasm, commitment and hard work have been truly outstanding, and we are incredibly grateful for all they are doing to bring this exciting project to life.

Yesterday some of the people we support enjoyed a lovely boat trip for the day, we went to Wallingford and enjoyed a fantastic time on the boat, we saw lots of people, wildlife and fancy houses and also enjoyed our lunch as we sailed down the river⚓️🚤
