He spent over 33 years working for the Fire Service, 8 of those as a Fire Service Trainer/Instructor, where he gained many training qualifications and the experience necessary to compile excellent training courses but also the skills in which to deliver the training content and material in an effective way. Most recently Ian was a Fire Safety Inspector and Building Control Liaison Officer for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority. Put simply he was at the forefront of investigating businesses, education establishments, shops, care facilities, landlords etc to ensure they complied with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and where he found failings it was his responsibility to enforce the order. To be an enforcement officer Ian gained extensive knowledge of the regulations governing fire safety. His knowledge and understanding of the regulations and how they should be implemented in practical terms makes him the ideal professional to assess your business, advise customers on all aspects of fire safety and train you and your staff.
