Our resident bus expert has been hard at work!

If you're starting something new this September, we've put together some ideas for how you can navigate the local bus services. Please always make sure you check the timings on the D&G or First websites.

Historically, the first few weeks of term have been really busy, so please be prepared to travel earlier or to consider different routes.

We wish you the very best of luck with your new adventures!

Huge congratulations to everyone.

Thank you will never suffice when talking about the incredibly detailed gifts, Certificates, and local awards from Biddulph produced by Biddulph Consort Sue Robinson.

The photos are reproduced here by kind permission of Sam Thomas. She’s very good!

My thanks go to Biddulph Town Mayor Cllr Charlie Smith and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council Chairman Cllr Linda Malyon. To Brian Vowles for opening your wonderful home to us all on Friday evening.

It would be very remiss of me if I did not mention the support of Biddulph Town Council: from Chief Officer, Officers, Councillors, and through to the Caretakers (especially the caretakers) Sue and I can’t thank you enough.

We've learned something new today. The collective name for a group of Town Criers is a 'bellow', and there will be a bellow outside the Town Hall on Saturday 22 August!

We're delighted that the Loyal Company of Town Criers is holding the British Championship in Biddulph, with the parade starting at 10.20am, and all the action taking place outside the Town Hall. Come along and see who you think is the best!

We have some lovely news! The Town Council has been awarded Gold in the Local Council Award Scheme.

We initially received this award in 2022 from the National Association of Local Councils, and had to apply for re-accreditation this year.

We are immensely proud of this achievement, which shows that the Town Council achieves good practices in governance, community engagement and council improvement. Furthermore, this award shows that the council has gone above and beyond the legal obligations; we continuously seek opportunities to improve and develop even further.

Thank you to everyone that supports the work of the Town Council. Our partners and the wider community are the reason we do what we do.
