Volunteer with the Northam Burrows Rangers ❗ 🥾
If you would like to spend more time outdoors, learn new skills or meet new people, you might want to look at the volunteering opportunities available with the Rangers at Torridge District Council.
The next event is on Weds 10 June at Gatefield, Bideford – weeding around the newly planted trees.
The volunteer events are free to attend and usually take place between 10am and 3pm. All equipment will be provided but pre-booking is essential.

Happy Monday! ☺️

This week, we’re exploring the variety of wildlife that can be found on Lundy.

Located in the Bristol Channel, Lundy is an island three and a half miles long and half a mile wide. It is well known for its seabirds, particularly puffins, which is how it gets its name from the Norse meaning “Puffin Island.”

Alongside its famous birdlife, the island is home to a rich mix of wildlife, both on land and in the surrounding waters. 🦭 🐦 🐎

Apologies, but due to staff shortages we have not been able to deploy one of our garden waste rounds today.
Areas including, but not limited to Hartland, Clovelly, Bucks Cross and Fairy Cross will not be collected today.
We will aim to return within 7 days so please can we ask residents to keep their bins kerbside ready for collection.
