Happy Monday! 🌊

After a weekend of fun at the Regatta, we're keeping the water theme going for this week's .

We're incredibly lucky to live in an area where we can make the most of the water, from rowing and paddleboarding on the estuary, to kitesurfing and surfing at Westward Ho! - there really is something for everyone 🏄

Do you have a go-to place to enjoy the water? Share your favourites below 👇

⏳ There's still time to help shape the future of North Devon and Torridge. Our consultation on a new local plan is now open, and we'd like to hear from as many people as possible.

Whether you've lived here all your life or recently moved to the area, your experiences and ideas can help shape a plan that reflects the needs and aspirations of our communities.

With a robust local plan, we can protect green spaces, deliver affordable housing, and ensure we have vital infrastructure that supports our community.

The close of the consultation is also the last opportunity to let us know about land that could be available for development through our ‘call for sites’.

We would particularly like to hear about previously developed ‘brownfield’ sites and other disused land that could be put to better use.

📅 Closes 5pm on 11 August.
