🌸 Thank you to everyone who joined us for today's Biggleswade in Bloom Community Planting Day 🌸

It was fantastic to see participants coming together to help brighten our town and add some extra colour for the summer months 🌼🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and effort.

We can't wait to see how all the Biggleswade in Bloom entries develop ahead of judging in July! 🌸

We have a large selection of games available to borrow from Biggleswade Library! These can be played in the Library (Adult Supervision Required) or taken home to enjoy. All games must be put onto your Library Card and issued at the Helpdesk. The full selection of games can be found in the folder on display.

🌸 Biggleswade in Bloom is really starting to take shape! 🌸

It’s fantastic to see some of the amazing progress being made by participants across the town already 🌼🌿

From colourful planters and allotments to gardens and community spaces, Biggleswade is beginning to bloom beautifully.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their photos so far — we love seeing all the creativity and hard work going into this year’s event 💚

🌱 A reminder that our Community Planting Day will take place on Wednesday 3rd June, where participants in Biggleswade in Bloom will come together to help plant and brighten areas of the town.

We can’t wait to see even more progress over the coming weeks 🌸

Sadly, due to low trader uptake, it is not currently viable to run these markets in Biggleswade. 😔
It's real shame as it could have amazing potential! It's a lovely spot in the town and visitors seemed to really enjoy the two markets last year, but it's tough out there at the moment for small businesses, and it can be hard slog attending events. Not even mentioning the sourcing, curating, researching and pricing that has to happen before you even pack up the car!
We hope to be back in Biggleswade in the near future but unfortunately there's no events for 2026.
Please support markets, events and small businesses if you can. They can't run otherwise!
Take care and hope to see you at the Bedford Flea, Affordable Art & Local Produce Market in the meantime.
