2065 Biggleswade Squadron RAF Air Cadets

On 22nd March, cadets and staff from 2065 & 22 Squadron had the honour to be involved in the unveiling of the Northill memorial for AE588 Bomber which went down in the local area during WW2.

This was a powerful moment of reflection, honouring those who may have been forgotten. We wanted to extend our gratitude to the AE588 memorial committee who's tireless efforts, hard work and dedication made such a monumentous event possible. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of such a significant service.

2025 Cadet Christmas Party!

Our annual party where Cadets and staff can let their hair down and showcase their festive jumpers.

As we draw an end to another year full of adventures, we look back on 2025. It's been a busy year packed with camps, course and exploration. Happily 2026 shows no signs of slowing down!

For now, cadets and staff will have a couple of weeks break to enjoy the festivities with their loved ones.

Big thank you to the staff who have made this year possible. We appreciate all you do for the cadets.

Congratulation to our very own WO Austin on his recent promotion. A Warrant Officer is the highest non-commissioned rank an adult volunteer can achieve in the RAF Air Cadets.

WO Austin is approaching 12 year service as a volunteer and has served the next generation with diligence and passion. He's an inspirational role model to the cadets and was appointed as the Southern Sector WO earlier this year. This is a secondary duty supporting adult volunteers in their development.

We couldn't be prouder of all he's achieve and we look forward to watching him take on this role striving for excellence.

2065 (Biggleswade) Air Cadet Squadron joined the Biggleswade community in the Remembrance Parade service.

We were proud to see the cadets understand the significance of this day. As we pass on the responsibility to the next generation to honour the great sacrifice so many have made in the quest for freedom.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Congratulations to CWO Kelly. Your fellow cadets and Squadron staff are proud of all you have achieved.

We look forward to watching you step into this new role as a Cadet Warrant Officer and all of the exciting opportunities it brings.
