Having taken on board the overriding concerns of the local business community, we believe that 2015 can be the year when businesses take control and begin the process of returning Birkenhead into the vibrant, dynamic and prosperous town we all know it can be. We would like to see further improvements to Birkenhead’s commercial and retail centre yet with increased restrictions on public sector fund

ing on the horizon we believe now is the time for the business community to take charge by providing the direction and investment Birkenhead needs. Working in Partnership with Wirral Council and local businesses Wirral Chamber of Commerce's proposal is to introduce a Business Improvement District (BID) to the centre of Birkenhead. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for businesses to join together and regenerate the town by providing the resources needed to deliver a variety of projects aimed at making a real difference to Birkenhead’s commercial centre.
