Our mission is to provide resources which encourage and inspire homeless people to transform their lives.

Wirral Ark is a charity that supports hundreds of people each year who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Through our accommodation, professional services, and a compassionate ear, we help them achieve good and real outcomes for themselves.

Did you know that the LGBTQIA community is more likely to be homeless compared to the general population?

When you dig a bit deeper, it's not that surprising as they face increased discrimination which increases their risk of homelessness for all the reasons set out in the article below.

Here at Wirral Ark, we think everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and supported, regardless of who they are or who they love. We remain committed to providing compassionate support, safe accommodation and a welcoming environment for all those who come through our doors.

This Pride Month, we stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community in the fight against homelessness and discrimination. 🏳️‍🌈

It's just emerging from a cold spring (despite the recent hot weather!) so it's not looking at its best but there are plans afoot for the garden at Hilltops.

Our residents will be getting involved in some activities and planting there soon so that by the end of the summer, it will be a vibrant place to go.

We've got some exciting news to share with you: Ted Without A Bed has had a makeover!

When the lovely Emma Larkin approached us about re-writing Ted Without A Bed, we jumped at the chance. Not only has she written a beautiful story, she has enlisted the help of Arwen Hughes to provide us with some new illustrations.

We are currently in the design and development stage with the book and it will be available soon! Watch this space....

What a fabulous night!

Thanks so much to everyone who came to our fundraising Quiz Night last night. The concentration in the room was a sight to behold! But we hope you all had a fantastic time. 😊

Thanks to your generosity we raised a staggering £1,720! This will go a long way to support homeless people here on the Wirral so we are very grateful.

Same again next year? 🤩

Our Quiz Night is finally here!

Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket - at 115 tickets sold, we are officially a sell out!

Don't forget to bring extra cash for our raffle. We will have card machines for payment but cash is also welcomed and can help us speed things up. There are so many great prizes you are bound to want a LOT of tickets 🤩

🖋Quiz starts at 8pm prompt! Don't be late as the quiz master has lots of quiz rounds to get through as well as our extra games...
😊Finish at around 10.30pm.

As we mark Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reminded just how important it is to look after our mental wellbeing and to look out for one another. 💚

At Wirral Ark, we see every day how closely mental health and homelessness are linked. Many of the people we support are facing incredibly tough challenges, and having a safe place, a listening ear, and the right support can make all the difference.

Through our services, we’re not just providing a roof over their heads, we’re helping people rebuild confidence, find stability, and take positive steps towards their own home.

Together, we can help create hope, dignity, and brighter futures.

Up bright and early in Liverpool ! Here at central station telling everyone about the work we do and how we all can get involved to help the homeless in our region! If you are going to the match pop by and buy a mascot Ted to take to the match ( he loves Liverpool FC!!)
