Our School Leavers' Party was such a wonderful afternoon!
We hope all of the children had an amazing time celebrating with their friends. We would like to wish each and every one of our school leavers the very best of luck as they begin their exciting new journey at their new schools.
We are so proud of them and know they will all do brilliantly.

This week is superhero week so we decided to set up a table with different items of clothing and accessories for the children to explore along with practicing putting things on for themselves. We also read a book to the children about superhero’s. The children then had an important task to take part in, they had to try save the animals that were trapped, this was a problem solving activity to use their hands to free the majority of animals helping to develop their grip. Tweezers were added to the tray so that the children could practice picking things up with a pincer grip, some children found this tricky, so through the help and support from the staff and encouragement the children were able to complete this. Great job everyone you are all superhero’s. 🥰

Today is world penguin day so the children in rabbits have been doing activities about penguins. The children have been developing their hand eye coordination skills using the hammers to break the ice to free the penguins. One child put the ice cube in their mouth and did the action of shivering as it was cold. The children had a go at making their own penguins out of play dough. 🐧🐧🐧
