Why has this field been left like this?

Children deserve a safe, well-maintained place to play, yet this space has been neglected and left behind for far too long, there’s a theme of this happening is BSJ.

We’ve asked Wirral Council when it will be restored and improved for local kids.

📍Bidston & St James is the 2nd most deprived ward in Wirral, with too many families facing tough choices every day.

📦 In just one week, Wirral Foodbank provided 260 emergency food parcels.
Since September 2025, they’ve supported our community with 119,322 emergency meals.

🤝 No one should need a food bank, but when people do, our community is there to support them.

💚 Together, we can build a fairer Bidston & St James.

📍 Dave reported this fly-tipping of dumped mattresses and bed frames on Watson Street, Birkenhead on 29 August.

✅ It’s now been cleared.
