South East Water - Temporary Road Closure - Ryarsh Road, Birling - 17th February 2025 (Tonbridge and Malling District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of Ryarsh Road, Birling, from 17th February 2025 with estimated completion by 20th February 2025.

Ryarsh Road, Birling, will be closed from Clacketts Farm to Masters Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Birling Road, The Street, Woodgate Road, Trottiscliffe Road, A20 London Road, A20 Ashton Way, A228 Leybourne By Pass, Birling Road, Bull Road, Ryarsh Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new water connection works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.

We have noticed an increase in anti social behaviour around our local horse riders in the parish.

If you see an incident please report it to our local police on 101 or online at https://www.kent.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/

🚗Please take care when approaching horses

🐎 Slow down to a maximum of 10mph.

🐎Be patient, don’t sound your horn or rev your engine.

🐎Pass the horse wide and slow – at least two metres.

🐎Drive slowly away.

Urgent Road Closure - Birling Road, Leybourne, West Malling - 6th November 2024 (Tonbridge & Malling)

It will be necessary to close Birling Road, Leybourne, West Malling from 6th November 2024 for up to 1 day.

The road will be closed at the junctions of A20 London Road and Bannister Way.

The alternative route is via Bannister Way, Hawley Drive, A20 London Road and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs.

This is to enable carriageway patching and pothole repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.

Enclosed is a copy of the Traffic Notice in confirmation of this.

Urgent Road Closure - Stangate Road, Birling, West Malling - 6th November 2024 (Tonbridge & Malling)

It will be necessary to close Stangate Road, Birling, West Malling from 6th November 2024 for up to 1 day.

The road will be closed at the junctions of Paddlesworth Road and Snodland Road.

The alternative route is via Paddlesworth Road, St Benedict Road, Snodland Road and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs.
